Founder & Research DirectorPolina Hneletska, Founder & Research Director, has spent fifteen years on both sides of the retail shelf. She started in beauty retail in 2011, executing planograms by hand, then audited shelf placement in the field across a national FMCG market, prepared brands for the shopper as an independent designer, and ran her own product photography studio in Dnipro, Ukraine. In 2026 she founded AVBR Lab to audit the algorithmic shelf the same way she once audited the physical one — from the outside, with open protocols anyone can rerun.

Since 2011 I have executed visual merchandising algorithms by hand on a beauty-retail shop floor, field-audited shelf placement across a national FMCG market, built brand identities and product imagery as an entrepreneur, and run a commercial product photography studio in Dnipro, Ukraine.
